This is an activity I used with my little ones when I was teaching them to recognize different letters. It’s a great trick if you’re out and about and needing to keep a little one entertained, as well. Simply have them go through a newspaper or magazine article and circle the letter you’re learning. You might make it more fun by having them guess how many will be in the article and then comparing to see how close they were.
